An average Joe's take on the world of technology. So why should you care? 'Cause if the average Joe doesn't get it, it WILL fail.
Welcome to ryanerickson.com redux! This is my new-new-old-site to take the place of the CGinformation.org and the recently VARY slow ryanerickson.com blog. I will admit I was semi-pressured to close the (CGingfo) site, and in the long run I’m glad I did. I have had more time to spend with the family. But I found a great match to blogging and family- blog what I want.
I’m still on the Coast Guard stories, mostly over at CGBlog.org, but I’m also blogging what I want to here.
About Me: I am a father of two wonderful little girls, and am married to a very supportive and faithful wife. I have thus far been a career military man. I joined the Army in 1994 where I served with the 1/75th Ranger Battalion until 1998 and then joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 1999. The first six years I spent in the Coast Guard were done in the air via the HC-130’s; both the “H” and “J” models. I attended Officer Candidate School in 2005 and have since been stationed at Sector Seattle as the supervisor of our Vessel Board and Search Team. I'll finish up at least twenty, and longer if they let me!
